Dr. Yochai Bar-Shavit is a graduate of the Hebrew University School of Medicine at Hadassah Ein Kerem in Jerusalem. He specialized in obstetrics and gynecology at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer, and is currently the director of the gynecological emergency room at Tel Hashomer. After completing his internship, he studied at Clermont Ferrand, France, one of the world's leading centers in minimally invasive surgery in a variety of gynecological conditions.
Today, at Tel Hashomer Hospital, the uterine fibroids clinic is responsible, a clinic that combines drug and surgical treatments, in addition to unique conservative treatments in Israel that allow the preservation of the uterus. In addition, a surgeon at the hysteroscopic clinic in Tel Hashomer, including the see& treat method, which allows for painless surgical treatment and without the need for anesthesia in appropriate cases. As part of his role at Tel Hashomer, the Endometriosis Clinic is centered in a regional military clinic in Tzrifin.
