Dr. Shahar, a graduate of medical studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. After military service as a combat doctor in elite units, he specialized in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital and graduated summa laude.
At the end of his internship, he worked under the supervision of Dr. Haim Kaplan, one of the leading plastic surgeons in Israel, and specialized in breast reconstruction surgery and aesthetic surgery of the body and face. He then went on to subspecialize in breast reconstruction and microsurgery at the leading centers in Europe. In addition, he has undergone advanced training in aesthetic surgery of the face and advanced treatments to improve the quality of the skin.
Dr. Shahar works as a senior physician in the Breast Reconstruction Unit and in the Department of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
