Dr. Shapira Glitz, Deputy Director of the EEG Department and Director of the Voice and Swallowing Clinic at Kaplan Medical Center, a summa laude graduate of Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical School, served four years as a military doctor in the IDF before completing her internship at Kaplan Medical Center. During her internship, she established the Swallowing Disorders Service of the Medical Center, and specialized in providing medical and surgical solutions to patients with swallowing disorders. Dr. Shapira Galitz completed her residency in laryngeology and vocal cord medicine at New York University Langone Health Medical Center in Manhattan, where she gained extensive experience in treating voice, breathing and swallowing disorders, with an emphasis on treating singers, actors and actresses and other professional voice users.
